Trecastle Community Hall, Trecastle, Powys LD3 8UW

Living in a largely rural area sets challenges when it comes to pursuing enthusiasms; travel is to be expected and so, in catering for the whole Principality we have tried to find a venue which is easily accessible from all points of the compass. Our regular meeting-place is conveniently on the A40 which at its rural busiest is never intrusive. Trecastle, near the Brecon Beacons, boasts two excellent Antiques Centres with ample parking next to, and opposite our Hall, which is set in its own grounds for al fresco lunches in good weather. Inside, the acoustic is clear and pleasing and the facilities excellent.

* Another weekend in Paradise...

SRP Wales Summer School 2017
Sat July 8th/Sun July 9th
and Sat July 22/Sun July 23rd

Because our long-weekend tuition course set in the beautiful hills near Presteigne, at Paradise Farmhouse has proved so very popular, we made the decision to hold two separate 2-day weekends during July for 2017.
The first weekend - July 8/9th - will be tutored by Helen Hooker, making a welcome return visit, but. . .
this weekend is now fully booked

However - here's the Good News

The idea of the second weekend on Jul 22/23 was to make the event accessible to those who could not attend the first, and open to those who may feel they are not as proficient in the full SATB recorder range.
This was originally to have been held at Paradise, but the venue has now been changed to Maescar Hall, Sennybridge. Booking is not necessary, and is FREE for SRP Wales members.

So please join us for a Special Summer Weekend with
Pam Smith (Sat)
and Steve & Ann Marshall (Sun).
Arrangements for food and refreshments are as usual for regular meetings.
